About Diana

Diana Colaizzi’s career as a hair stylist began with an exceptional education in the United States and Europe.

She is a graduate of Vidal Sassoon, Paul Mitchell, Toni & Guy of California, Trevor Sorbie of London, Wella, Clairol, and Pierre Alexander of France.

Diana believes in excellence through learning and hard work which is supported by her degrees as Manager, Master Barber, Hair Designer, and Clairol Colorist/Platform Artist. In addition, she has received accolades in Publications, Editorials, and Television.

Saks Fifth Avenue was home to Diana for 21 years as Salon Manager and Artistic Director. She enjoys creating unique hair sculptures that are fun and attractive.  As a result of many years in teaching Clairol’s hair coloring techniques, Diana specializes in providing exceptional color evaluation for discerning clients.

Diana has created cutting-edge hair designs for fashion shows produced by icons such as Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Jones New York, and Oscar de la Renta, Perry Ellis, St John, Donna Karan, and the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera.

Whirl Magazine has graced Diana’s talent for Weddings, Updos, and other special event styling.  Her frequent appearances on KDKA’s “Pittsburgh Today Live” shows have only enhanced her reputation as one of Pittsburgh’s premier hair designers.  Diana has a strong conviction to the artistic value of hairdressing as a form of self-expression and self-identity.

Brazilian Blowout is the newest special hair treatment service offered. Diana has completed the “Professional Brazilian Blowout Academy” training program, and received her certification by Brazilian Blowout.

Diana provides a private salon room for hair styling, styling wigs and hair pieces for women with hair loss.
